Lauryn and Jeremy were married at the Front St. Civic Center in Melbourne, FL. Beautiful setting with on the river right beside the park. I absolutely loved the butterfly release. Lauryn and Jeremy couldn’t take their eyes off each other. They were sooo cute! There were so many beautiful details to their wedding. How cute are they?

I had my very first Senior photo shoot at Spressard Holland, in Melbourne Beach, with Amber and her mom on Thursday. I was a little nervous at first -as was she, but we hit it off right away! Amber is fairly new to the area so she wanted to do her senior photos on the beach so she could send them back home ( in the snow) and rub it in. I personally ( being raised in Pittsburgh) couldn’t agree more. I told her wait until January to send them We had a great time! Amber is a sweet, beautiful, young woman and I wish her all the best in her journey to the future. Here are a few sneak peeks of her photos.

Ocean Landscape Photos at Half Moon Bay in Akumal Mexico

So, my trip to Akumal, Mexico was absolutely phenomenal! My awesome friends Sherwood and Bob, from San Francisco CA., picked me up at the airport wearing Steelers gear with Margaritas in hand! That was just the preview of the great days to come. Akumal is located on the Gulf of Mexico and the water colors there are extremely vibrant. When I arrived at Half Moon Bay there was a storm brewing out in the Atlantic which made for some spectacular ocean landscape photo opportunities.I got up at 6am every morning to “chase the light” as some may say to find the perfect sunrise over Half Moon Bay. These ocean landscape photos were taken within the first day of my trip to Akumal. The sunrise photo over Half Moon Bay was taken the very first morning I woke up there. It was spectacular! There was not another sunrise the entire time I was there that compared to that first day. The ocean landscape photos at Half Moon Bay were also taken on the very first day. Good thing I captured them on that day because Half Moon Bay was “flat as glass” in the days to follow. YES-the water REALLY is that color at Half Moon Bay in Akumal, Mexico!

Wildlife Photography of a Baby Loggerhead Sea Turtle Hatchlings Journey

Last week I was invited by a great friend to help release some baby Loggerhead Sea Turtles that had been recovering for a few days before their long journey. I felt so privileged to be invited! She invited me on Sunday to release the babies on Tuesday. Those 2 days waiting seem to take forever to go by! Here are some sneak peeks of the hatchlings on their way.

Dan and Mandy are such a sweet couple. I just love them to death. Their son, daughter in law, and 3 grandchildren were coming to Florida from Illinois for vacation so they wanted to have family portraits done on the beach of ALL their children and grandchildren while the opportunity was available ( life gets busy when we get older and those moments that we get together with ALL of our family members are few and far between) I was thrilled that they asked me to do their family photos It was a perfect evening on the beach for a photo shoot. We had so much fun with all the kids! Here are a few of their family photos.
